Our Mission The University Teaching Center provides programs and services to support and enhance instruction at the University of Arizona. Individual, departmental, and university-wide programs and services are designed to offer professional development opportunities to faculty, department heads, teaching assistants, and instructional support staff. Our unit suports classroom learning environments, promotes learner-centered teaching, and facilitates pedagogical exploration and reflection. We are committed to being accessible to the University community to promote and enhance the teaching/learning process in support of the University's mission to be the nation's top learner-centered research university. We collaborate with other instructional support and resource units on campus and reach out to other universities and colleges to cultivate faculty development partnerships that foster a community of learners. |
